I had a great time meeting this little guy and his sweet family at his recent newborn session.
This family of five traveled to my studio in Milton, just outside of Boston, MA. We started out with family photos since baby Conor is lucky to have twin 2-year-old big sisters!
Photographing toddlers, especially twins, during a newborn session can be full of surprises, but thankfully I pulled out my tricks for getting toddlers to cooperate and they did great.
They definitely had a lot of energy and fed off each other’s silliness, but they were so fun. I just loved spending time with them and seeing their little personalities shine!
Just look at how precious they are!
Mom and Dad joined their girls and little boy on the couch for a few photos so we could get the whole family together. You can see how happy they are and I always enjoy capturing these joyous memories.
We then moved onto some simple poses of baby Conor on a neutral backdrop for those timeless portraits.
I was even able to grab a couple of adorable awake photos when he opened his eyes for a bit.
Mom wanted to add some blue into the session so I finished up on this beautiful slate blue backdrop with coordinating cheesecloth wrap and knit hat.
And I can’t forget the little feet! So darling!
Conor was a dream to work with and I felt honored to photograph him and his family during this exciting time in their lives.
If you are expecting and live in the Boston or South Shore area of Massachusetts, I am currently booking newborn sessions into early 2024. Make sure to get in touch with me so we can chat about your newborn photoshoot!
The last 13 years as a Boston portrait photographer has taught me that I would rather document the whole of life, and not just parts. This led me to a focus in everything from sweet newborn photos to family portraits, maternity and motherhood portraits and senior photos.
Look forward to an intuitive experience that is more communicative than not (no details missed or advice not shared), and with custom, modern and light filled photos that are hand-edited to be framed and passed on.
