It’s really sweet to see the stress melt away, and to watch proud parents take in the reality of their newborn baby. I’ve come to find that doctors, nurses and pediatricians will come to me for their own newborn photos because they trust my 10 years of newborn photography experience. It always makes me smile when I see these nurturing parents rest their eyes as I work, taking that time in our session to relax while I do what I love.

I’ll share my experience and answer any questions you have. I understand how overwhelming it is to trust someone with your baby, but I promise you’ll feel relieved as soon as you step into my studio. Maternity photos are also available as an add-on.

Your newborn session fee includes the studio, time, props and a curated gallery of retouched fine art photos for you to choose from. I use an online contract and payment of your session fee to book your newborn photo session. We’ll schedule your newborn photos for a flexible time frame close to your due date. Just make sure I’m on the call list for when baby arrives!

Let me reassure you, as soon as you walk into the doors of my studio, I will make it as easy as possible for mom, dad, baby and even siblings. I have props, snacks, white noise and a soothing space that tends to put everyone at ease.

All newborn photos are taken in a beautiful, private studio just outside of Boston. By providing a quiet, clean and comfortable environment, we pave the way for a smooth session. I also have an extensive collection of props and accessories, along with professional lighting equipment to maintain a high level standard of photography. I’ll share the exact address upon inquiry to ensure confidentiality for clients.
can you tell us about your studio?
I have a straightforward online contract and session fee that is required at booking. Given the tendency for newborns to arrive on their own schedule, we’ll plan a tentative date for a week after the due date. When baby comes, we’ll confirm that date or choose another, ideally before the baby is 2 weeks old.
how do we book?
I look at my own children’s newborn photos almost every day. There are a handful of them hanging in my home and it’s become a humbling and endearing reminder of just how small they once were. I use this same sentiment with my newborn photography client — giving you the perfect amount of photos to treasure for years to come.
How many photos can we expect?
Another reason for the curated galleries is the amount of attention I apply to hand-editing my photos. Your newborn will be perfect, but sometimes there are small, temporary blemishes that disappear within a few weeks of birth. We can’t avoid this appearance because we take newborn photos early after birth to better capture the first moments, tiny fingers and sleepy faces. However, we can have the best of both worlds with professional retouching that maintains your child’s natural look.
