As soon as you have that sweet baby in your arms, I can promise you one thing - emotions will come rushing in and you'll feel like you need to document everything. When you come to me for Boston newborn photography, I will always prioritize two things — the safety and wellbeing of your baby, and the stress-free experience for you as parents.
It’s really sweet to see the stress melt away, and to watch proud parents take in the reality of their newborn baby. I’ve come to find that doctors, nurses and pediatricians will come to me for their own newborn photos because they trust my 10 years of newborn photography experience. It always makes me smile when I see these nurturing parents rest their eyes as I work, taking that time in our session to relax while I do what I love.
Maternity sessions are available as an add on to your newborn session. The bundled cost includes separate maternity and newborn sessions. *Digital files and packages are purchased after your session.
Baby will only be this small for so long and there’s something about the bond you share in those early days and late nights that is breathtakingly beautiful. The outcome of our time together will be joyful photos, of course, but witnessing the pride in newborn parents in these early weeks is incredible. We hope you'll consider our studio for your Boston newborn photos.
I’ll share my experience and answer any questions you have. I understand how overwhelming it is to trust someone with your baby, but I promise you’ll feel relieved as soon as you step into my studio. Maternity photos are also available as an add-on.
Tell me when baby is due, and how excited or nervous you are. I know the feeling.
I have a simple pricing guide with multiple package options that include the studio, time, props and a curated selection of fine art photos. I use an online contract and payment of your session fee to book your newborn photo session. We’ll schedule your newborn photos for a flexible time frame close to your due date. Just make sure I’m on the call list for when baby arrives!

I’ve done this for 10 years and in that time, I’ve developed a few unique and simple ways to prepare for your newborn photos. From what to bring, what to wear and how to make sure baby is comfortable and calm, I will send all the instructions you need.
Let me calm your worries with helpful tips.
Let me reassure you, as soon as you walk into the doors of my studio, I will make it as easy as possible for mom, dad, baby and even siblings. I have props, snacks, white noise and a soothing space that tends to put everyone at ease.

I have a few photography collections — some with every final photo included and others with a smaller, curated gallery that you can order individual photos from. With this, you can spend less time choosing your photos, and more time adoring them.
Order, share and love your photos.
“I am in love with every single photo. She is so good with newborns and the quality of her photos blows other photographers away!”
“We’ve had the pleasure of working with Stephanie twice now for our son and daughter’s newborn photos. To say I’m obsessed with the finished products is an understatement. I love showcasing the photos in our home and on my desk at work, where we receive a ton of compliments. Stephanie is professional, flexible and easy to work with!”

All newborn photos are taken in a beautiful, private studio just outside of Boston. By providing a quiet, clean and comfortable environment, we pave the way for a smooth session. I also have an extensive collection of props and accessories, along with professional lighting equipment to maintain a high level standard of photography. I’ll share the exact address upon inquiry to ensure confidentiality for clients.
I have a straightforward online contract and $200 retainer fee that is required at booking. Given the tendency for newborns to arrive on their own schedule, we’ll plan a tentative date for a week after the due date. When baby comes, we’ll confirm that date or choose another, ideally before the baby is 2 weeks old.
I look at my own children’s newborn photos almost every day. There are a handful of them hanging in my home and it’s become a humbling and endearing reminder of just how small they once were. I use this same sentiment with my newborn photography client — giving you the perfect amount of photos to treasure for years to come. I have three collections that include 5, 15 or 30 retouched images.
Another reason for the curated galleries is the amount of attention I apply to hand-editing my photos. Your newborn will be perfect, but sometimes there are small, temporary blemishes that disappear within a few weeks of birth. We can’t avoid this appearance because we take newborn photos early after birth to better capture the first moments, tiny fingers and sleepy faces. However, we can have the best of both worlds with professional retouching that maintains your child’s natural look.
Fill out my simple contact form so I can confirm availability and get to know a little bit about you. I’ll share booking steps and answer any questions you have for me. Just know that I would be honored to document these early days and the bond between you and your baby.
