As the year winds down and we cozy up to the holiday glow, I’m taking a moment to reflect on the incredible journey that was 2023. For my newborn photography business, it was a year bursting with precious moments, beauty, and (most importantly) my clients’ adorable faces!

From the ethereal floral minis in my studio, to tip-toeing through the tulips, to my playful Spring afternoon with the L family (that pink tulle skirt still gives me all the feels!), every session was a reminder of the magic that unfolds when new life and love enters the world.

The early summer lavender fields painted a dreamy backdrop for some of the sweetest sessions, while the golden sands of summer beaches was the perfect setting for the M family and their nautical seersucker outfits. 

And how could I forget the V family and their four sweet boys? Capturing the first memories with their new little one, was a true privilege that warmed my heart.

Fall painted the leaves in vibrant hues, and I discovered two new outdoor havens that became instant favorites. Samantha M. and Julianna C.’s images in these stunning settings epitomize the beauty of nature and new beginnings.

And I just love receiving holiday cards featuring images I took during my Christmas mini sessions in the studio.

As my year unfolded, it wasn’t just about capturing moments; it was about growth and personal transformation. Celebrated 12 years in business, you guys! And what a year it was with almost 200 sessions in the books making 2023 my best year in business yet!

I finally took the time to define my brand, poured my heart into more blog posts (thank you for reading!), and even snagged some gorgeous new branding photos. And perhaps the most exciting milestone: moving into my dream studio in Milton, MA, back in April! 

But beyond the professional achievements, 2023 was a year overflowing with personal joy. From a snowy Vermont ski trip with the kids in January to sun-kissed adventures in Florida in February and November (girls trip!), NYC in April, and Portugal in May, we explored new horizons, soaking in every single moment. 

I devoured more books than ever before, reaching my reading goal for the year, and celebrated five wonderful years of marriage to my amazing husband. And watching my littlest one take her first steps into preschool, alongside her older siblings soaring through 5th, 7th, and 10th grade, filled my heart with immense pride.

As I look back at the year, I’m filled with immense gratitude for each and every one of you who trusted me with capturing your most important family moments. Your smiles, your tears, your tiny fingers and toes – you’ve all brought such joy and meaning to my work.

So, here’s to 2023, a year that bloomed with beautiful memories. I can’t wait to see what magic unfolds in 2024, and I hope to be there, lens in hand, to capture every precious moment along the way.
