We have officially entered winter in Boston and as the holiday lights begin to twinkle, I find myself tucked away in the studio with a moment to finally breathe and reflect. This year has been a whirlwind—a beautiful, messy, transformative season that challenged me and changed the way I see the world through my lens.

The biggest physical change this year was the completion of our second studio space, White Suite Boston. It’s been such a gift to watch this vision come to life, and even more rewarding to open it up as a rental suite for other local photographers. Building a community within these walls has been a highlight of my career.
Professionally, I took a massive leap of faith. After 15 years as a Nikon shooter, I switched to an entirely new Canon system. It felt like learning to walk again at times, but it completely reignited my creative spark. I also found a new passion in Brand Sessions, helping other entrepreneurs find their voice, and loved every second of my Senior Sessions.
However, the year wasn’t without its shadows. I spent much of 2025 navigating the quiet, difficult struggle of chronic headaches and health issues. It forced me to slow down and cherish the moments of relief. My heart was refilled during our family getaway to Punta Cana, and a dream-come-true girls’ trip to Paris with my mom and my daughter, Adeline. Those memories are the ones I’m tucking away for a rainy day. I also cannot believe that I became a mom to a senior in high school this year!

If 2025 taught me anything, it’s that time is our most precious currency. As I look toward 2026, my word for the year is Intention.
I’m evolving creatively, moving toward a warmer, moodier aesthetic. While my signature “Classic Whites” will always be available, I’m leaning into lifestyle and emotive imagery—the kind of photos that feel like a hug or a whispered secret.
Here is what I’m most excited for in the coming year:

On a personal note, 2026 holds a huge milestone: my older son, Parker, is heading to college in the fall. My first baby is flying the nest, and while my heart is heavy, I am so incredibly proud of the man he’s become. It’s a reminder to all of you (and myself) to take the photos. Hold them close.
Thank you for trusting me with your most precious moments. I am so grateful to be your photographer, and I can’t wait to see what magic we make together in 2026.
The last 13 years as a Boston portrait photographer has taught me that I would rather document the whole of life, and not just parts. This led me to a focus in everything from sweet newborn photos to family portraits, maternity and motherhood portraits and senior photos.
Look forward to an intuitive experience that is more communicative than not (no details missed or advice not shared), and with custom, modern and light filled photos that are hand-edited to be framed and passed on.
