There is something unforgettable about senior year in Boston. It is where memories are made, friendships grow stronger, and dreams start to take shape as you prepare for your next chapter. Whether you are rounding out your junior year or stepping fully into your senior year, this is a season worth slowing down for.
Senior portraits are one of the only times you get to pause it all. To step out of the rush of deadlines, college applications, and last firsts, and simply document who you are right now. The goal is not just to take photos, but to preserve the personality, style, and energy that make this moment yours.

Boston is the perfect backdrop for senior portraits because it carries so much character. From historic streets to modern waterfront views, the city gives space for both classic and contemporary storytelling. Your senior year is a fleeting moment, filled with bonds and memories that are uniquely beautiful. These sessions are designed to capture not just how this season looks, but how it feels. The excitement, the pride, and the quiet realization that something meaningful is coming to a close. Senior portraits are the best chance we have at slowing down those last months of high school that always seem to move too fast.

Every senior brings something different into their session, and that is exactly what makes it special. The focus is always on you. Your style, your quirks, your personality, and the version of yourself you want to remember. Together, we create images that feel honest and personal. Not overly posed or forced, but natural and reflective of who you are in this exact season of life. These photos are meant to feel like you, not like someone you are trying to be.

Timing plays a big role in planning your senior portraits. I recommend booking between May of your junior year and November of your senior year. This window allows flexibility with schedules, sports, school commitments, and weather. It also ensures you are not racing against yearbook deadlines or last-minute stress. Once you reach out, we will coordinate a date that feels easy and relaxed, something that fits naturally into your season instead of competing with it.

The process is designed to be simple, guided, and enjoyable from start to finish.
Step 1: Reach out through my contact form or Instagram DM. Since time is limited before graduation and yearbook deadlines, I respond within 48 hours.
Step 2: We plan your session together and choose a date that works around your schedule. Think of it like a friend date with a camera involved.
Step 3: You will fill out a short questionnaire so I can get to know your style, personality, and what you want your photos to feel like.
Step 4: This is the fun part. Choose your outfits and try them on ahead of time with your shoes and accessories to make sure everything feels right. I recommend bringing two to three outfit changes so we can create variety throughout your session.
Step 5: Your session day is relaxed and natural. I will guide you when needed, but I also focus on candid moments and conversation so your personality comes through. Expect a laid back experience where you can simply be yourself.
Step 6: After your session, I carefully hand edit each image so your final gallery feels polished, consistent, and true to you. These are images meant for your yearbook, your memories, and your everyday life.

Senior year is not just a milestone; it is a transition. A shift between everything you have known and everything you are about to create. These portraits are a way to honor that space in between. They are for the version of you who worked hard to get here, and the version of you who is just beginning to step forward. Years from now, these images will bring you back to exactly how this season felt. And that is what makes them worth it.

The last 13 years as a Boston portrait photographer has taught me that I would rather document the whole of life, and not just parts. This led me to a focus in everything from sweet newborn photos to family portraits, maternity and motherhood portraits and senior photos.
Look forward to an intuitive experience that is more communicative than not (no details missed or advice not shared), and with custom, modern and light filled photos that are hand-edited to be framed and passed on.
